Hidden among the hills of the Southern Ardèche lies La Safrane. A small-scale estate featuring three stylish gîtes for those seeking peace and quiet, enjoy being active outdoors and value comfort, space, and a personal atmosphere.

Our characterful house has been carefully renovated into three fully self-contained holiday accommodations. No mass tourism, no crowded swimming pool full of children, but a place where you start the day with a view of only nature and end it under a clear starry sky.

The Southern Ardèche is known for its impressive gorges, picturesque villages, vast hiking trails, and challenging cycling pathes. From La Safrane, you can reach the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the Pont d'Arc, atmospheric markets, and countless routes for hiking, gravel biking, road cycling, mountain biking, and canoeing within a short time.

After an active day, you return to a peaceful environment where everything revolves around relaxation. Enjoy a good glass of wine on your own terrace, read a book by the pool, or discover one of the excellent restaurants in the area.

A characteristic estate with a new story

La Safrane has been created for those with a desire to really slow down. No large-scale vacation park, but a small-scale with an eye for design, architecture, atmosphere and comfort.

the house has recently been completely renovated with respect for originality. Authentic elements have been combined with original furnishings, natural materials and modern facilities. Nothing brash, but stylish, warm and comfortable.

With only three accommodations we are deliberately keeping it small-scale. There is plenty of peace & quiet, privacy and space.

Out guests are lovers of nature, enjoy being active and value a relaxing holiday. Our guest come for the hiking, cycling, canoeing and to discover the villages of the Ardèche. Others look for a quiet place to read a book, local cuisine and just generally reload.
